Hawk Island County Park, Lansing, MI

The Breast Cancer and Environment Research Centers and the Health and Risk Communication Center participated in the 5th Annual 5K Run/Walk Marathon to support the Sparrow Foundation on Breast Cancer Research. The members of the centers not only participated in the event but raised $550.00, with all proceeds going to the Sparrow Foundation. We had a team of eighteen, which is impressive for our first year supporting this event.
