About her Research:
Dr. Choung’s recent work explores trust and ethics in relation to artificial intelligence and algorithmic decision-making, focusing on real-world applications such as health decision-making, facial recognition, and automated content generation and curation. Her research has been recognized with several top paper awards at major communication conferences, including the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication and the Central States Communication Association.
