2019-2020 Call for Applications (Word Doc)

To be eligible to receive the Sandi Smith Research Fellowship, applicants must be a graduate student in the MSU College of Communication Arts & Sciences; priority may be given to students in the Health & Risk Communication Master's program. Applicant must use the funds for a research project related to health, environment, science or risk communication.

Application Materials:

  • Curriculum Vitae 

  • 250-word proposal/abstract/explanation of research project and brief explanation of what

    the funds would be used toward. Research projects should focus on health, environment,

    science or risk communication research. 

  • Letter of support from their advisor stating that they will oversee the research project.

2019-2020 due date is November 8, 2019. Award announced on December 1, 2019. Email wiseambe@msu.edu with questions.
